Chemical RACX Acid Neutraliser

RACX powder quickly and efficiently neutralises concentrated acid spills. The neutralisation reaction generates harmless gases and the residue is environmentally harmless and easily disposed of. For maximum safety, RACX contains an indicator system that will show when the spill is completely neutralised. Contains foam control agents.

Neutralisation Capacity:

1 KG of RACX powder neutralise (approx.)
500 ml of sulphuric acid 96%
550 ml of phosphoric acid 85%
660 ml of nitric acid 70%
1250 ml of hydrochloric acid 32%
2000 ml of battery acid

DIRECTIONS:

Apply RACX to the acid spill slowly while mixing, working from the outside to the centre. The pink colour will disappear at first. When sufficient RACX is added so that the spill is completely neutralised the mixture will turn permanently pink. If permitted, the mixture can be flushed away with water without danger to the environment.
